Privacy notice.
How Guires Pet Nutrition Lab collects, uses and protects the information you share through this website — your enquiries, project briefs and pet food problem reports.
Who we are
This website is operated by Guires Pet Nutrition Lab (Guires PNL), part of the Guires R&D Innovation Centre, 55-E (NP), Industrial Estate, Ambattur, Chennai 600 098, India, with offices in Manchester, UK and Charlotte, USA. For any privacy question, email info@petnutritionlab.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries and project briefs: your name, business email, company, the product and markets you are working on, and anything you write in your brief.
- Pet food problem reports: product and batch details, information about your pet and what happened (which can include details of your pet’s health), photos you choose to send, and — unless you report anonymously — your name, email address and country.
- Emails and calls: what you send us directly.
- Website use: fonts are served from our own website, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you use the language switcher, the page is translated by Google Translate, which receives the page text and your IP address.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal (our legitimate interest in responding, or steps before a contract).
- To deliver a project you have contracted us for (contract).
- To log, assess and act on a pet food problem report (your consent, which you give on the report form).
- To share a report, without your name and contact details, with the brand or the relevant authority — only if you tick that option.
- To keep records we are legally required to keep (legal obligation).
International transfers
Because our teams work across India, the UK and the US, your information may be accessed from these countries. Where the law requires it, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as needed to respond, deliver the project and meet legal and contractual record-keeping requirements, and then delete or anonymise it. Pet food problem reports are kept as long as needed to assess the problem and support any follow-up or safety action.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw your consent at any time, and ask for a copy of what you gave us. Email info@petnutritionlab.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority — for example the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, your national supervisory authority in the EU, or the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We protect information with access controls and confidentiality obligations for staff and partners. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us more personal information than your enquiry needs.

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version below.

Every Guires PNL product is formulated to comply with the FEDIAF Nutritional Guidelines and the AAFCO Dog and Cat Food Nutrient Profiles. Neither body issues certificates to manufacturers, so compliance is verified independently against their published standards — and every product comes with a complete documentation package for regulatory submissions in the EU, US, Australia and Asian markets.
